EEG-Neurofeedback with VR and haptic devices for stroke rehabilitation
Job description
The ANR Grasp-it project aims at improving upper limb function after stroke by using EEG-Neurofeedback coupling with Virtual Reality and haptic interfaces. This 4-year funded project brings together 4 research teams (LORIA/Neurosys, UL/Perseus, Inria/Camin, Inria/Hybrid) and 3 Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Units (IRR/CMPR Lay St Christophe, Rennes University Hospital, Toulouse University Hospital). The role of the post-doctoral student in this project will be:
1) To design the EEG-Neurofeedback platform and couple it with Virtual Reality interfaces and haptic devices
2) To participate to a clinical trial to assess the effectiveness of the created devices in improving upper limb motor function in stroke patients.
3) To analyze the EEG data of participants
4) To represent the team in ANR project : meetings, presentations, deliverables, etc

Candidate:
Should hold a PhD in Computer Science/Neurosciences. He/she should demonstrate relevant experience with EEG-NeuroFeedback or EEG/BCI, with programming (MATLAB, R, Python...), and if possible with the conception of Virtual Reality tools and/or haptic devices.
