PhD offer on Asynchronous Collaboration in Mixed Reality using LLMs
Dear all,
We are currently looking for candidates for a PhD project on asynchronous collaboration in Mixed Reality and AI.
This exact PhD topic is "Immersive collaboration across time through virtual surrogates in mixed reality". It proposes to investigate how virtual agents based on Large Languages Models (LLM) can be utilized to foster asynchronous collaboration in Mixed Reality.

This project is co-supervised between IMT Atlantique and the University of South Australia.
The PhD student will spend 2 years in Brest (France) and 1 year in Adelaide (Australia).
This project is part of the SEED project (https://www.imt-atlantique.fr/en/research-innovation/phd/seed) co-funded by the European Union. It offers PhD students a privileged framework for training, openness and financial resources, as well as attractive salaries. English-speaking candidates of all nationalities may apply, provided that they have not resided in France for more than 12 months in the last 36 months.
